What is CardBlock?

A clip-in support that locks into standard trading card boxes to keep your cards standing upright, even if the box isn’t full.

Will CardBlock Damage my Cards?

Cardblock is made from durable plastic. If it presses directly against an unsleeved (raw) card, it can leave scratches. For that reason, we always recommend using penny sleeves or top loaders for important or valuable cards. When cards are properly sleeved, Cardblock does not cause any damage.

Will CardBlock Damage my Box?

Because Cardblock clips snugly against cardboard, it may leave a small scratch, indent, or mark in the box. These are minor surface marks that don’t affect the strength or longevity of the box, and they won’t cause the fit to loosen over time. Even if you remove and reinsert Cardblock in the same spot, it will still hold firmly and keep your cards upright.

What Sizes of CardBlock are Available?

Cardblock comes in two sizes — Standard and Extended.

  • Standard: Best for typical trading card boxes and standard-sized cards. Compact, versatile, and easy to move.
  • Extended: Ideal for taller boxes or graded slabs, with a snugger fit that holds more of the card’s height.

You’re not locked into one or the other, some collectors prefer the Extended in standard boxes for extra hold, while others stick to Standard for a more compact option. Both can be mixed and matched freely.

Is CardBlock Reusable?

Yes. Simply slide it out, reposition it, or move it to another box, it’s built to be reused over and over again.

What types of cards can I use with it?

Cardblock works with all trading cards; sports, TCGs like Pokémon and Magic, or any standard-sized collectible cards, graded or ungraded.
